Magdalena Starzycka owes her talent and passion for the arts to her relatives who has already made of it a family tradition. In 1985, as a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Magdalena has begun her career as an artist. One of her favorite subjects is the old Warsaw: narrow lanes, illuminated squares, palaces, churches and old tenement houses - sunbathed, in the rain, in the fog or covered with snow. All well known, yet, at the same time, still mysterious and attractive.
The artist does not stop at recreating the charms of the Warsaw Old Town; she paints heart-warming Polish landscapes, multicolored flowers and surreal visions coming from dreams or fairy tales. Her work enchants due to its solemn atmosphere, beauty and harmony.
